The Downtown Business Association (DBA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the growth and success of Downtown Baton Rouge. The DBA works closely with the public Downtown Development District.

The DBA membership volunteer their time to support the continued success of Downtown Baton Rouge through a number initiatives.

The current officers include President Gary Anderson, Senior Business Coach, UEPGC, Vice President Lauralyn Maranto, Vice President of Administration & H.R., Visit Baton Rouge, Treasurer Josh Anderson, Sales Manager, Baton Rouge River Center, and Secretary Robert Hebert, Director of Design & Marketing, MayerIT, and board member Gabriel Vicknair, Assistant Executive Director, Downtown Development District.

The Live After Five concert series is just one of the many events spearheaded by the group to help make downtown a draw and a destination for locals and tourists. Also, the organization works closely with Visit Baton Rouge on projects such at the LSU Game-Day Shuttle and visiting tour groups.

At the quarterly meetings, members – and potential members – are encouraged to gather and to discuss ways to join together to further the development of Downtown.

There are four committees for members to join including Finance, Live After Five, Marketing and Policy & Procedures. If you’d like to join the DBA team to help make Baton Rouge all that it can be, then contact:
