ART AFTER HOURS: FACES OF THE FLOOD
ART AFTER HOURS: FACES OF THE FLOOD

A testament to the resilient and generous spirit of Baton Rouge, Faces of the Flood looks back upon the historic August flood of 2016. Photographed amidst damaged homes, churches and businesses, area residents share their personal stories of devastation, survival and hope in words and images as captured by Kristin Basilica, Dan Jones, Frank McMains, David Morris, and Collin Richie. Fifty of these photographs along with documentation, video, and even images contributed by the general public provide a compelling portrait of our community’s shared distress and ultimate revival.

Presented by BASF, 225 Magazine, and inRegister. Also made possible in part by a Local Project Assistance Grant from the Arts Council of Great Baton Rouge, funded by the East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor-President and Metro Council
