It’s almost here! The CAAWS 2017 Mystic Krewe of theme this year is will honor those who helped with rescue and recovery during the Great Flood of 2016. We will celebrate our great state and Baton Rouge’s 200th anniversary. Once again we will be joined by our premier sponsors, our 2017 royal court, and our Guests of Honor – the Cajun Navy, Celtic Media, and First Responders. So come out and show your support for our great city, state, and CAAWS.
Join us at Bark in the Park along North Boulevard at Town Square for a full day of fun activities that will showcase vendors with food, information, shopping, activities and demonstrations. There are contests for Best Costume, Best Float and Best Group Theme as well! So, gather friends, dress up your pooch, decorate a pet-sized float and join in the parade! All dogs and people must register to compete in contests and walk in the parade. Pre-register online and save register on parade day. The Parade rolls at 2 pm with a new parade route.
Join Raising Cane’s “After Pawty” fundraiser at 302 3rd Street all day until 5:00 pm. Mention the fundraiser at the register before, during, and after the parade and Cane’s will donate 15% of the sales to CAAWS.
