Join the Capitol Park Museum for the latest edition of the “Lunchtime Lagniappe” series, this time featuring David Plater, author of The Butlers of Iberville Parish, Louisiana. Learn about the experiences of Edward G.W. and Frances Parke Butler and other Iberville Parish residents, as they faced the political, social and economic changes brought on by the Civil War and the military conflicts nearby. David Plater is a retired maritime lawyer and history teacher and the former manager of Acadia Plantation in Thibodaux, Louisiana. This event is free and open to the public.
