Join the Friends of the Capitol Park Museum for a special lecture!

Pelican House’s Gavin Jobe and Jay Ducote, local Food Network personality and owner of Jay D’s and Government Taco, will be having a BBQ cookoff. And not just any cookoff, wild boar will be the protein used in the competition! State Wildlife Vetrinarian, Dr. Jim LaCour, will be sharing his expertise on feral pigs as you taste victory (2nd place will be delicious too). Come help decide who our winner will be at your favorite lecture series in Baton Rouge! Tickets available on a first come, first serve basis. Admission is free for Friends of the Capitol Park Museum members and $15 for the general public. Payment for non-members to be collected at the door.
