REPENTANCE PARK GRAND OPENING
Mayor-President Holden and City officials will officially cut the ribbon on this important park for our City. Simultaneous with the ribbon cutting will be a ceremonious toss of the new Frisbees and various sport balls available in the park for public use and the Picnic in the Park immediately following.
As a Riverfront Master Plan project of Plan Baton Rouge II and major component of the 'Central Green' concept, Repentance Park will soon connect with North Boulevard Town Square through the St. Phillip Street promenade.
Repentance Park features an arc walkway with seating, fountains with 750 jets, undulating land forms, a great lawn and tiered steps to sit and enjoy the area. Come out and enjoy the festivities!
