DOWNTOWN TWO-WAY PROJECT

The downtown Two-Way project, a recommendation from Plan Baton Rouge I & II will convert the one-way streets of St. Louis Street (Nicholson Drive to the South) and St. Ferdinand Street (Highland Road to the South/ 4th Street to the North) to two-way streets that will provide a better connection from LSU’s Campus to Downtown. While creating a better connection it will also reduce traffic traveling through the neighborhoods and provide a total of 3 entrances into the River Center Garages. The St. Ferdinand Street portion of the project will be completed Monday, March 16th and St. Louis Street will be complete the following Monday, March 23rd. *Weather Permitting
