HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS NOW OPEN
Located in the North Boulevard Town Square area, this historic building opened in 1955 as the Baton Rouge Savings and Loan Association Building and was once home to East Baton Rouge Arts and
Technology School. The building was given historic status in 2014 as “This building merits historic status because it’s one of the few examples left of early low-rise International Style in Louisiana.”
This unique historical hotel offers different experiences in each room with the various historical features which remain as part of the National Park Service standards. The 45,000 sq.-ft. urban décor property offers a variety of amenities such as a meeting room for 70 people, separate boardroom for 12 people, 24 hour business center, expanded fitness center, hot express start breakfast buffet served daily, and an outdoor patio.
