Iboro Udoh
Iboro Udoh is a recent addition to the Downtown Development District (DDD) team as the Development Project Director. In his role as the Development Project Director, Iboro ‘s duties involve working in partnership with the public and private sectors, collecting and analyzing data, developing public relations and marketing materials, facilitating stakeholder engagement, formulating policies and procedures to implement projects, creating graphic materials depicting projects and programs, developing and managing grants to implement projects, assisting with coordination of downtown events, and furthering the vision outlined in various downtown master plan documents.
He earned a Master's in Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Louisiana State University and brings a passion for all aspects of design. This guided him into K – 6th-grade Visual Arts education with 2 years of coaching track & field and soccer. This fostered a love for community involvement and team motivation.
In the realm of architecture, Iboro has held roles as an Architectural Designer and Project Manager, refining relationship-building skills through effective client and contractor communication. During this time, he also completed BR MetroMorphosis’ Urban Leadership Development Initiative program.
Now serving with the DDD, Iboro looks forward to coordinating community-centered initiatives, projects, events, etc.
Beyond work, he enjoys watching movies with his wife and three kids, grilling, spending time with loved ones, and capturing life’s moments through photography.
