45 Years of Excellence (1972-2016)

Catholic-Presbyterian Apartments is a comprehensive retirement facility designed to provide an independent living environment for senior citizens of moderate income. Opened in 1972 with the promise of a comfortable, attractive lifestyle, the 195-unit apartment complex has evolved into a community of friends and neighbors to become an integral part of Downtown Baton Rouge. Operated by Catholic Presbyterian Apartments, Inc., a Louisiana non-profit corporation, the H.U.D. financed facility benefits from the guidance and spiritual support of the Catholic Diocese and First Presbyterian Church.

Located in downtown Baton Rouge on the edge of the Spanish Town Historic District and adjacent to the Central Business District, our residents enjoy the peace and solitude of a quiet residential neighborhood while having the advantage of being within easy walking distance of the downtown churches, banks, library, shops, parks and cultural activities. The latter includes the Theater for the Performing Arts, museums and various Arts & Crafts festivals, just to name a few.
