Maritime I

The Maritime One Building, located at 101 France Street, was recently purchased by Darryl Smith, a Hammond investor, for $1.1 million. The 35,000 square foot, 100 year old building was originally a warehouse and was part of the 1980’s Catfish Town retail and restaurant development. It was later converted to office space, most recently housing offices for the Louisiana Department of Economic Development. Offering great views of the Mississippi River, the Maritime One Building is an ideal location for the 24 residential units that were completed in 2015.
