                                                        Architectural and Historical Significance: The Prince Apartments are one of the few existing Art Deco buildings in Louisiana. Local architect, Lewis A. Gross, designed the building in 1930.This building is located in Beauregard Town a National Register Historic District in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. There are three important apartment buildings in this Historic District including the Prince Apartments, the Lytle Apartments constructed in 1934, and The Doralice Apartments constructed in 1939.
