WATER CAMPUS GROUNDBREAKING

The Center for River Studies, the first component of the Water Campus to be implemented near the Municipal Dock and the I-110 bridge, reflects the riverfront vision created in our master plans and will become the economic, educational, and cultural southern anchor of downtown. Downtown congratulates and thanks the partners involved in this collaborative project including Governor Jindal, the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA), the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, the City of Baton Rouge, the Water Institute of the Gulf, and Louisiana State University.
