LOFTS @ 6C

John O. Hearin, a local developer owning several downtown properties and parking lots, introduced the 142-unit apartment complex vision to the downtown community early in 2016. The Lofts @ 6C, located on Sixth Street between Florida and Convention Street, and adjacent to Convention St. Park, will be a six-story building with one and two bedroom units. The first two floors of the development will be garage space totaling 270 spaces for residents and guests. The remaining upper floors will be comprised of the residential units. Amenities will also include a clubhouse, swimming pool, landscaped courtyards, and approximately 3,000 square feet of commercial space. Financed in part by the US Housing and Urban Development Department, construction began in December 2016 and is expected to be completed in early 2018.
