2024 Development Yearbook Release

The DDD has unveiled the 2024 Development Yearbook. The comprehensive booklet showcases downtown Baton Rouge's growth and vitality over the past year. It highlights new businesses, ongoing projects and key downtown data, all to showcase the strides made in enhancing the area’s appeal and functionality.

"2024 was a year of new leadership and building of pivotal partnerships that have set the stage for a transformational 2025," said DDD Assistant Director Casey Tate.

A few notable accomplishments for the DDD and Downtown:

- Launch PLAN BR III

- 657 Businesses

- 3 New Restaurants

- 5 New Event Venues

- 33 total downtown projects in the works

- 35 + Street lights repaired & LED lighting upgrades
