CANCELED: 2020 CAPITAL AREA HEART WALK
We aren't just walking. We're Heartwalking! Thank you for joining nearly 1 million Americans at 305 events across the country to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
By participating in the 2020 Capital Area Heart Walk, you’re joining a million Heart Walk Heroes from across the nation raising funds for lifesaving science. Science that can teach us all how to live longer and be Healthy For Good.
Take a few minutes to consider the lives you are going to help change for the better through your leadership and donations. We’re talking more moms, dads, brothers, aunts and babies' lives saved. Help keep hearts everywhere beating. Let’s take steps together to cure heart disease and stroke.
Please join us as sponsors, walk teams, survivors and lifestyle change heroes as we come together for a common goal: to combat our nation’s biggest health threats – heart diseases and stroke - by taking our hearts on a walk while raising critical mission dollars.
We are excited to make the 2020 Heart Walk a memorable event and even bigger than last year! Entertainment, kids activities, and health activities like hands-only CPR and BP screenings will be available beginning at 8:30 am, the walk at 9 am, followed by a Jambalaya Contest and Team T-Shirt Contest.
How can you make a positive difference in the lives of your friends, family and co-workers? Join the Heart Walk. Remember - we're not only raising funds, we're raising heartbeats!
