4th of July Extravaganza - Old State Capitol

Secretary of State Nancy Landry invites you to come on down to Louisiana’s Old State Capitol this July 4^th!

Commemorate the 250^th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with games, karaōke, crafts, and more. Festivities will take place all day with come-and-go, free admission from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Bring your family to the castle for a festive day of games, karaoke, crafts, exhibits, and more!

Plus, seize the opportunity to view the original Louisiana Purchase document signed by Napoleon Bonaparte. The document is on loan from the National Archives and Records Administration, Washington, D.C. It will return to its home on July 11, 2026.
