Experience a captivating blend of international and local guitar talent at the Across The Pond Guitar Festival. Featuring renowned musicians in individual performances, dynamic collaborations, and a spectacular grand finale with all artists.


Guitarists:

Gavino Loche (Italy): A virtuoso guitarist, Gavino seamlessly transitions between genres. His YouTube performances have millions of hits, and he has won numerous awards, including Best Up-and-Coming Italian Guitar Player. Gavino’s solo performances blend tapping, percussive sounds, and incredible fingerstyle arrangements.

Adrian Raso (Canada): Adrian Raso, a versatile guitarist/composer from Guelph, Ontario, has released multiple albums and transitioned into film composition. His music has been featured in major films, and his collaborations with renowned artists highlight his exceptional talent.

Layla Musselwhite: New Orleans-based singer-songwriter and slide guitarist, Layla Musselwhite, draws from a rich musical legacy. Her music spans blues, folk, and soul, rooted in deep respect for early blues rhythms and melodies. Layla has performed at major festivals and collaborated with her father, blues legend Charlie Musselwhite.

Jimmy Robinson: has been recording and touring for over 40 years. He has received critical and audience praise for his unique virtuoso approach to the guitar, and his rich compositional skill.Jimmy learned to play guitar in garage bands, later formed the fusion/prog group Woodenhead, studied classical guitar and composition at Loyola University in New Orleans and The Eastman School Of Music in New York.

Phil deGruy: Apart from his originals, Phil prefers accessing repertoire from all possible sources, rather than sticking to a genre such as standards. He has said, “I don’t play jazz, I play jazzy. I don’t play classical, I play classless.” Material ranges from bossa nova to Delta blues to Debussy, along with covers by the likes of Jobim, Coltrane, Bill Evans, Steely Dan, Gershwin and the Beatles.
