The Baton Rouge Irish Club returns to Manship Theatre with their 14th Annual Baton Rouge Irish Film Festival. Come to one or all of the films!

Get your Weekend Pass HERE. The Weekend pass will get you into all FOUR Films, a savings of $8.00.
Friday, August 9th, 7:30pm: Opening night with the Wee Irish Film Night.

Two one-hour blocks of Irish Short Films with a fifteen minute intermission between. At the conclusion of the night attendees will hand in their votes for the O'Kalem Award "Audience Favorite Short Film." See the show page for more details. HERE

Saturday, August 10th, 12:30pm: Tarrac

Tarrac is an Irish Language (with subtitles) contemporary drama set on the coastlines of Kerry in the tough world of Naomhog (Currach boat) racing.

Following the movie, there will be a performance with the Ryan School of Irish Dance and music by Kitchen Sessions in the lobby. See the show page for more details. HERE

Saturday, August 10th, 3:15pm: That They May Face the Rising Sun

Based on the award winning novel by internationally acclaimed Irish author John McGaher's, "That They May Face the Rising Sun," is a vivd evocation of nature, humanity, and life itself. Set in a 1980's rural community in Ireland. See the show page for more details. HERE‍

Saturday, August 10th, 5:45pm: The Graceless Age - The Ballad of John Murry.
Special Guest John Murry will start with a 30 minute performance, and after the film he will return for aQ&A session.

This is the story of American singer/songwriter John Murry, who was on the cusp of greatness after the release of his highly acclaimed album, "The Graceless Age" (2013), when his world fell apart. See the show page for more details. HERE
