BATON ROUGE TURKEY TROT 1 MILE FUN RUN / 5K

Celebrating its 33rd year, the Turkey Trot returns to Downtown Baton Rouge on the morning of Thanksgiving 2019. This race is a local thanksgiving tradition – one that serves the community by keeping them active and fit through racing and by partnering with the March of Dimes as a fund-raiser to help their organization both financially and by spreading the word about the work they do.

The 2018 race was a tremendous success. We had just over 1,900 registered runners from 33 different states across the country! The race was again the largest registered field for March of Dimes in 32 years. We’d love to surpass that and keep the growth trend going in 2019. The team at FRESHJUNKIE Racing is committed to the continued growth and success of this Baton Rouge staple. We are working hard to accommodate the growing numbers and make everyone’s Turkey Day a little more special.
