Discovery Day: Poverty Point

Join us for a day of museum programming centered on Poverty Point’s unusual carvings! Explore our galleries to learn more about Poverty Point and then pull up a chair at our pottery station. Participants will be provided with clay to carve their very own Poverty Point designs. Carvings will be displayed in our Poverty Point area until August 1^st.
