First Responders: Operation Save Santa Parade
The Bogan Fire Department and the First Responders Operation Save Santa Committee are EXCITED to announce the inaugural First Responders: Operation Save Santa Parade, a community-wide Christmas event honoring the dedication, courage, and sacrifice of first responders.
The parade will roll through downtown Baton Rouge on December 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM, featuring participants from across the first responder community, including fire services, law enforcement, EMS, members of the military, and many more participants! The event is designed to be family-friendly, inclusive, and a joyful celebration of the season.
“Operation Save Santa is an opportunity for Baton Rouge to come together and show our unwavering appreciation for the men and women who protect and serve our community,” the committee stated. “This event reflects our gratitude and the strong bond between our first responders and the residents they serve.”
First responder groups wishing to participate in the parade must provide their own throws and are asked to confirm their participation with the Robert A. Bogan Fire Museum no later than December 4th at close of business.
Parade starts at 4th Street and North Street and will conclude at the intersection of 5th and North Street.
