Free First Sunday & Exhibition Opening: The Rise of the House of Weary at Louisiana

LASM kicks off Black History Month with Free First Sunday, offering free general admission, family-friendly activities, live performances, and discounted planetarium shows, generously sponsored by the La Capitale (LA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. The day also marks the opening of The Rise of the House of Weary, on view through April 12, 2026, with participation from community partners including CareSouth Medical & Dental, Southern University Ag Center, and NJC2O, LLC.
