Louisiana Book Festival 2023

The Louisiana Center for the Book in the State Library of Louisiana is excited to announce the return of the live, in-person Louisiana Book Festival on Saturday, October 28th, 2023. The Louisiana Book Festival will again be FREE and held in downtown Baton Rouge, at the Louisiana State Capitol, State Library of Louisiana, Capitol Park Museum, Capitol Park Event Center, and surrounding area.

The Louisiana Book Festival offers you a chance to meet exceptional writers, find new books to read, and enjoy thought-provoking presentations. Whether you're young or old, enjoy puzzling over a good mystery, have a thirst for history, can't get enough of poetry, or love to cook up some great Louisiana dishes, our national award-winning event has something for every book lover.
