Louisiana Book Festival
This year marks the 20th Louisiana Book Festival. We will have more than 200 authors and presenters from every type of genre (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, children’s literature, and more) with authors available to sign copies of their books which are available for purchase at the festival.
The Louisiana Book Festival is a celebration of readers, writers, and their books. We have everyone from national bestselling authors to local up-and-coming authors during the daylong event at the State Library, State Capitol, Capitol Park Museum, and the surrounding neighborhood. We also feature our popular WordShop writing workshops the day before (this year on Friday, Nov. 1) which lets aspiring writers get one-on-one attention from a handful of authors who are participating in the book festival.
