MARCIA BALL IN CONCERT WITH KENNY ACOSTA PRESENTED BY RED DRAGON LISTENING ROOM
Though the music world may consider Marcia ball a Texas artist, those of us in Louisiana know better. Marcia was raised in Vinton, LA and spent years in Baton Rouge as an LSU student. She spent her youth playing her own brand of swamp blues and boogie woogie piano. Marcia's career has spanned more than five decades and her accomplishments have made her a music icon. Ball has garnered numerous awards and has been inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame. Her many appearances on their stage began 47 years ago in their inaugural season. The years have not slowed down Marcia Ball's career and her live shows remain the stuff of legends.
"The only thing I could add is that Marcia Ball may well be the coolest artist I have ever met!" -Chris Maxwell
