Join us on Friday, February 3rd, from 7 PM – 9 PM for Mighty Voices: Mighty Women of Theatre Baton Rouge, sponsored by PartnersOne!

Local performers from the Theatre Baton Rouge stage, accompanied by local band Alabaster Stag, will celebrate various singers and songwriters with a cabaret-style performance in the Main 1 Gallery at LASM, which currently features Diamonds of History: Mighty Women by Ashley Longshore, the first museum exhibition for New Orleans-based artist and social media maven Ashley Longshore.

The evening will celebrate the musical accomplishments of powerhouse women whose portraits are on view in the Mighty Women exhibition, including Lizzo, Lady Gaga, Diana Ross, and Nina Simone.

Accompanied by popular local soul, jazz, and R&B band Alabaster Stag, the evening’s four performers will be Rebecca Smith, Nya Skipper, Chloé Marie, and Brandy Johnson. All four of these professionally-trained women volunteer with Theatre Baton Rouge and have contributed significantly to Baton Rouge’s art and music scenes.

Along with an evening of song, the LASM will provide wine and hors d'oeurves before the performance and a special door prize to be awarded at the end of the night from the Museum Store, which will be open for shopping throughout the night. Guests may also tour the Mighty Women exhibition after the performance.

Tickets for the event will be $25 for a seated ticket or $15 for a standing ticket. LASM members will receive a discount on both prices.

Event Price: $25 for a seated ticket or $15 for a standing ticket
