Music at the Mansion - LSU Cello Studio Performance

Experience an evening of beautiful music! Join the Old Governor's Mansion for a special performance by the talented musicians of the LSU School of Music Cello Studio, featuring the students of Dennis Parker.

The evening's captivating repertoire will highlight Heitor Villa-Lobos's Bachianas Brasileiras Nos. 1 and 5, featuring a special guest appearance by soprano Emma Littleton for the vocal solo in No. 5. The studio will also perform Niloufar Iravani's Constellation C, alongside magnificent works by Richard Wagner, David Popper, Julius Klengel, and Arvo Pärt. A reception will immediately follow the performance.
