RED STICK FARMERS MARKET - GLASS RECYCLING DROP OFF
Start collecting your glass! We will be partnering with Glassroots to open a free glass drop-off at the Red Stick Farmers Market at 5th St. and Main St. from 8 am-12 pm on the last Saturday of every month. The Grassroots initiative utilizes a six-step method to collect glass bottles and convert them into sand and glass cullets used for coastal restoration and protection, disaster relief, eco-construction, art, and more.
Details:
They accept almost all glass bottles and containers. Please rinse any glass that contains a food product (e.g. sauce, vinaigrette) and remove any bottle caps and corks.
