The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and the City Club of Baton Rouge Present Honey Gold An immersive audiovisual, meditative, and restorative experience Friday, January 30, 2026 | City Club of Baton Rouge | 5:30–7:30 PM Baton Rouge, LA (January 2026) — The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, in partnership with the City Club of Baton Rouge, will present Honey Gold on Friday, January 30, 2026, an immersive audiovisual meditative and restorative experience featuring live music and visuals. For one evening, the historic City Club of Baton Rouge will be transformed into a warm, atmospheric environment of sound, light, and imagery designed to help audiences slow down, unwind, and reconnect with a sense of wonder, presence, and creativity. Honey Gold blends live vocals, gong, crystal singing bowls, cello, violin, guitar, and layered instrumental textures with immersive visuals to create a shared, contemplative journey. The experience invites inner-child wonder, innocence, imagination, universal love, and creative openness, offering a communal pause that feels inclusive and meaningful across backgrounds and beliefs. In times that can feel fast-moving and uncertain, this kind of shared calm and curiosity can resonate with a wide range of audiences. The Honey Gold experience is produced by Sariah Sizemore & Taylor Matherne, with video mapping and technical leadership by Wes Kennison (Version47). Original music by Sariah Sizemore & Taylor Matherne. The performance is being adapted for planetariums and dome theaters from the original Honey Gold theater presentation, which combines live music and video mapping. A full-dome immersive film version of the experience is currently in development. By attending, guests are invited to become part of the creative journey behind the Honey Gold full-dome immersive experience while supporting the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and the City Club of Baton Rouge, collaborators in bringing inspiring experiences to the people of Baton Rouge. Guests will be seated for the performance, with a designated space available for those who wish to lie down at any point during the experience. Light snacks and mocktails will be offered.
