Helix Learning Academy

The mission of Mentorship Academy of Science and Technology is to provide the greater Baton Rouge region with a student-centered learning place that is a pathway to successful postsecondary placement, and ultimately, to success in the science and technology industries. The goal of the high school is to develop students who will learn continuously as our economies and communities change; in essence, to prepare students for cutting edge careers in the science and technology fields. Also, Mentorship Academy offers a Special Education program (Inclusion only). Course Sequence As a college preparatory high school, students at Mentorship Academy will be eligible to graduate only on the Louisiana Core 4 Diploma track, receive an Academic Endorsement, and be TOPS eligible assuming they maintain the required grade point average and achieve the required ACT score.
