Repentance Park
Come out and enjoy Downtown's newest park!
As a Riverfront Master Plan project of Plan Baton Rouge II and major component of the 'Central Green' concept, Repentance Park will soon connect with North Boulevard Town Square through the St. Phillip Street promenade when phase 2 of the Town Square is implemented later this year. The promenade will be on the same grade level for pedestrians to walk. Other phases of 'Central Green' will be implemented at a later date to further this important connection. Repentance Park features an arc walkway with seating, fountains with 750 jets, undulating land forms, a great lawn and tiered steps to sit and enjoy the area. The public has embraced Repentance Park and have used the park for picnics, sun bathing, and playing ball.
