St. James Episcopal Church is a welcoming, downtown congregation with a mission to serve Christ through worship, fellowship, education, and outreach to all within our reach. We are part of the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana, and The Episcopal Church which is part of the Anglican Communion. Our worship is liturgically centered, our study is deep but where questions and doubts are welcome, we are generous and broad in our outreach to the community and beyond, and our fellowship is lively!
