RED STICK READY DAY 2020

“Baton Rouge” is French for “Red Stick” and being “Red Stick Ready” means having the necessary plans and items in place in order to be prepared for all hazards. Red Stick Ready Day provides a unique opportunity for citizens to interact with emergency response personnel.

Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome’s Office, in coordination with the Mayor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (MOHSEP), will be hosting 2020 Red Stick Ready Preparedness Day. EBRP citizens will have the opportunity to interact with first responders, tour displays and equipment, and gain valuable emergency preparedness knowledge from our Local, State, and Federal Community Stakeholders to become Red Stick Ready for any disaster in EBRP. This free, family friendly event will be open to the public from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Raising Cane's River Center.
